Sophie at 11 months

How sad that our little baby is just shy of 11 months old, and it has been forever since we took her picture. Here she is with her excellent, sparkling personality cheering on her big brother Cooper at the pine wood derby (along with her Daddy). We love you Sophie, and have not forgotten about you :)

Cooper the Pine Wood Derby King

So, the night began with Cooper working super hard this year to earn his Wolf Badge. He wanted to do it before he turned 9. He made it by 5 days!!

He also earned some arrow badges as well as some belt loops.

After the boys get their awards for advancement, they call up the mom's who also get a pin as well.

Cooper & Mike worked so hard on this car. We almost thought it might not get to race. As Mike was nailing in the front two wheels right before we left for the church, the wood was too thin in the front, and the wheels wouldn't stay on. Luckily one of the dad's there had some super glue...whatever it was, it made it a winner. Cooper's car raced 5 times, and he came in 1st 4 of those times. He only lost once, and it was to his friend Mason, who ended up coming in 1st place overall. Not bad work for Mike who does not excel in these kind of things at all.

Sweet Victory. You gotta love that Cooper thinks he is at a rock concert!! This kid had the best night ever. I am so proud of him!!!

Alexis' First Slumber Party

So this last weekend, Alexis had her first Slumber Party. I was surprised when her & 2 friends came to me to ask if they could have one (although I wasn't surprised they wanted to have one at our house, Alexis won't sleep at anyone else's house). They were so excited, I couldn't say no. She has made quite a few new friends this year at school, and I like them all alot. Look what they even got Alexis to do................Just when she thought I was not going to check on them... I found them all dressed up singing along with Guitar Hero. Notice the one in the tutu!!

Christmas Morning

I don't know about your house, but at the Robles' we would line up in order for a picture before we could see our stuff on Christmas morning. So in keeping with tradition, here is our lineup.

They were so into their games, that they didn't realize that they were touching. Nice & Cozy :)The kids were so excited to help Sophie open her first ever Christmas gifts!!

Sophie in the Sink

Our little baby has gotten so big. She is now 6 months old, and a whopping 17 1/2 pounds. She is definately built a little more like Cooper than the other girls. She is such a good baby. She is happy all of the time, unless I take too long getting her food. She is impatient!! Although she is not the best sleeper, she has such a cheery disposition. We are glad Sophie is a part of our family!!!

Alexis Got Em'!!!!

I keep teasing Alexis that she is going to get her boobs one of these days, especially since she is now 11. One of our neighbors brought over some flowers, and one was this "dinner plate" mum. Alexis thought it was hilarious, and insisted on me taking these pictures of her. I told her what it looked like when she held the flower & plate up like that, and she couldn't stop laughing. I think she secretly wants them :)

Here are the kids on our front porch before a night of too much Trick-or-Treating!!

Our neighborhood didn't get a whole lot of action, so we headed over to our cousins house. The kids came home with way too much candy. Cooper is dressed up like Ash (a Pokemon trainer), Alexis is a Gangster Rapper (I have no say anymore!!), Sophie is baby Snow White, and Reagan is a Pink Poodle.

I am so happy for Casey!! His wedding was so nice. Not to mention a great excuse to get to go home for week!! I really like Ryanne alot and she makes Casey really happy. It was very hard to give up my 2nd husband :), but it is worth it. He's not going anywhere!!

Spongebob Cooper Pants

So, we have always called Cooper 'Sponge', like in 'Spongebob Squarepants'. I am not sure if it is because of the square body, big head, sounds that come out of his body, etc. Anyways, Brady took this picture of him going into Disneyland, and when we brought it up on the computer we couldn't stop laughing. This is why we call him 'Sponge'. I love how he even has the stick legs and the white socks & black shoes going on. Love you Coop!!!!

Casey's Wedding Week Adventure, Ist Stop DISNEYLAND

So here are Cooper, Alexis & Uncle Brady outside the spectacular Haunted Mansion. It is the BEST right before Halloween when it is decorated like the Nightmare Before Christmas. It was so cute inside. Reagan, who is my daredevil did not like the very beginning when you are in the room & it gets dark & everyone screams, but after that she thought it was great!! I would love to decorate my house like this.

Sophie the Flower Girl

I am so far behind on my posts. I realized I do not have to have pictures to posts, but our computer situation has been a little messed up also. My time is very limited with Mike in school, so the time the computer is at home it its usually dominated by the kids or Mike. I really don't want to do anything to jeopardize Mike's school work... it definitely comes first these days.
This is the latest picture of Sophie at 4 months old. I am making dresses for the girls for Uncle Casey's wedding. She is getting so big at a whopping 15 pounds!!! She has also gotten her first tooth!! The time is going by so fast.

Everyone is back in school & doing fantastic!!
Reagan thinks it is the best thing ever. If only she could have a longer day!!! She is taking a dance class on Wednesdays and loving it.
Cooper is playing soccer & goes to cub scouts. If there weren't age limits on badges, he would have so many more things passed off :)

Alexis is playing soccer just about everyday of the week. She is playing on 2 different soccer teams & loving every minute of it. I just hope she does not get burned out.

Reagan the Animal Lover

So at this birthday that we went to on Saturday, they had a 'face painter' come. All the little girls lined up to have princess tiaras & hearts, butterflies & glitter added, and the boys all had spiderman. Reagan opted for the animal face (the only one that was different from everyone else). She chose a dog. It was so funny, it had a tongue hanging down off of her mouth. Of course she then chose to act like a dog & crawl around the backyard. She is a funny little girl.

So, I finally got to do something I have been waiting to do for awhile... dress my girls alike. We went to a birthday on Saturday, and Reagan was super excited to wear matching outfits. They looked so cute!! Also, if you take a close look a Sophie's ears, I turned her into a Mexican baby!!! I had her ears pierced on Wednesday, and she is doing fantastic... notice her smile :)

Disneyland 2008

So, this summer we had no intentions on going to Disneyland...
Fortunately, our super good friend Lauren thought it would be fun to celebrate my birthday there with the kids. Casey & Ryanne and even Uncle Pat joined us. Cooper went on Indiana Jones for the 1st time, and Reagan stepped up and went on Tower of Terror & Space Mountain. It was a super fun day!!

We spent the morning of the 4th of July doing what we always do...
Usually it is cheering Uncle Casey on while he races, but this year Alexis, Cooper & thir cousins Zacary, Owen & Avaree entered the kids mile run. As you can see by the pictures, Alexis pulled off a victory at the end. It was a nailbitter, but she won & ran the mile in 5 minutes 48 seconds. Cooper hung back with the other cousins, and they finished in about 8 minutes. Sophie & the other little girls & I were the cheerleaders.
Here is Sophie's 6 week picture. The other one is of all the cousins (the other 2 girls are Ella & Logan.

Reagan's First Dance Recital

So Reagan had her first dance recital about 5 days before I had Sophie. I know, I am brave to this picture up, but it is the only one I have of Mike & I together, so I thought it would be nice. Reagan had a lot of fun this year in dance & was really good at it. Hopefully this year we will start earlier than January.

Here is little Sophie at 4 weeks old. I ended up having to have emergency surgery about 2 weeks after she was born (I will blog about that when I get more than 5 minutes at the computer). So I am a little behind at picture taking, but hope to be caught up soon!!

Sophie's First Week Home

You asked for it, you got it. My mom is here at my house this week, so I had here go down to Costco to get my pictures on a CD to get them onto my computer.
It took long enough to get these on here, but here is Sophie snoozing away :)
Mike with his two littlest girls. This is about the closest Reagan is wanting to be with Sophie. Just close enough to be in pictures, but not close enough to touch.

First bath. Please be nice about me in the picture. It is not the best angle. She has quite a bit of hair, so it took awhile to get the shampoo out. She was nice and relaxed throughout the whole thing.

Here are my four (yes, 4!!!) kids. Everyone of them has been a super good helper. ***NOTE*** if you are at my house, please steal this awful hat from Alexis!! I can't get her to take it off :(

So, Alexis went to help out Casey at his school for International Day. He told her he would have an outfit for her to wear at his school, but would not tell her what it was. Boy, was she in for a surprise when she got there. It was a pink kimono!!!!! Only Uncle Casey could get her to wear something like that. By the end of the day, she was getting into the kung fu fighting aspect of the Japanese culture.

Alexis, the Soccer Star

Here is Alexis last month, yes it is April, and she is playing soccer in a beanie & hoodie. We live in the wrong state!!! She is such a peanut out there on the field compared to all the other girls... but she runs circles around all of them. She is definately in her element out on the field.

She was born on May 21, 2008 @ 11:35 am.
She was 6 pounds 10 ounces, 18 inches long. After all of the hard work, I am glad she is finally here.
